“oTTo” is a piece of furniture made of steel with a Cor-ten finish, which can be used as an object holder, a coin purse or an ornament.
“oTTo” was created from the recycling of shapes used in the construction of industrial plants: the material used is construction steel, obtained from dished ends for the production of tanks for the petrochemical industry. The object is finished with the Cor-ten finishing technique, which involves the repeated application of solutions to accelerate the normal oxidation of the material: once the desired degree of oxidation is reached, the process is interrupted with a suitable fixing operation. Every imperfection is considered a value, which guarantees the uniqueness of this handmade piece.
